Metal Marking Tools come in a variety of guises but one of the most easy to use is the Etch-O-Matic.

The Etch-O-Matic metal marking tool has been tried and tested by many workshops and even military successfully for 40 years.

This metal marking tool makes four different kinds of marks on metal, A Black Mark, A Clear .003" Deep Etch, A Black Deep Etch and A Frosty Mark on Mirror finish metals.

The Etch-O-Matic can be used for marking metal tools such as spanners, wrenches, cutting disks, knives and even machine parts.

The metal marking process is very simple:

First design your artwork or text on your computer and transfer the design onto a stencil using the Ultra Violet Stencil Maker or the regular Die Impressed Stencil package, which is included in every kit, by simply typing on them.

Then you place the stencil on the area you want to mark and hold it in place with a piece of scotch tape.

When you are happy with the positioning of the stencil, wet the head of the Etch-O-Matic metal marking tool with Electrolyte and place on the stencil. Check the alignment of the stencil, and simply touch the tool or part you are marking with the ground wire of the Etch-O-Matic metal marking tool for a few seconds.

And there you have it either your name or logo on the tool or part you were working with.

As a metal marking tool the Etch-O-Matic compares favorably with Laser markers as often it is easier and faster to use.
